I see nothing wrong with porn. Objectification doesn't come into it. These girls aren't being made to take 2 guys from behind and one in the front at gunpoint. Yeah, I'm sure there are the sick fucks out there who force their little sisters to do porn and all that shit, but that's the slim margin. I get so sick of feminists and the religous right trying to force this idea on the world that pornography is this evil thing, and it objectifies women, and that it turns men into raving sexual lunatics. I don't know about the rest of you, but it makes me want to rub one out. Men are more sexually stimulated by visual cues than women, MUCH more. This is why the porn industry caters to men, and why it's so huge. I for one do not see the point in denying natural human impulses. Sex [in humans] was derived as a method for procreation, but also intented to be highly enjoyable, why else would you do it?

On the objectification note, I don't think it makes women into anything more or less than whores. They're willing to accept money for sex - this is clearly prostitution (IMO). It doesn't turn them into lawn ornaments, it shows that there are women out there who are willing to earn money however they can - whether this is good or bad is a personal viewpoint.

I (and this may surprise you) agree with most of what you guys are saying. I do think it objectifies women, but the ones who are being objectified want to be and they're making a shit load of money, so why the hell not? I think the sick fucks who use underage girls and children should be shot, but the rest of it is fine. The really freaky stuff isn't for me, but I agree with josh.... ;)
Over all, it is what you make of it... yeah, some people are under sexed porn freaks, but the porn industry didn't make them that way, they were born that way, porn and a total lack of a sufficient social life and girlfriend made it show up.

porn is fucked up. i watch it but my main complaint is the internet more than porn itself. its too easy for young impressionable kids to view this really sick degrading stuff. pair that with MTV and any other urban ghetto outlet that portrays women as sluts and cum recepticles and you have a class of people who think women are second class citizens. i joke around a lot about it but its not how i really am. it is a good source of humor though. i guess one exception would be kate or e30pride. i bet they could be trained to make a fine sandwich
