I think they should have left it as a hatch, and made a more agressive kit over the existing 130i one.

If the coupe is 2900#, then a stripped one will probably go down to 2600# for track use, plus 100# for a cage. Not too bad for a car from the 20th century. Now let's remove all the rubber bushings and replace them with some stiffer material to improve feedback.Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

I gotta say this coupe looks better than the 1 series HB. Evo tested the 1 series hatch (265ish hp version) to 3 other cars, S3 beat it in almost every category though. I bet this will be in the high 30s to low 40s pricewise.
