    Nintendo DS impression

I never was into handheld systems like this, but about a week ago I was in a huge concert hall with a friend and I noticed that he was in a chat room with some other random people using their DS' in the same concert hall, and it caught my interest. After seeing a couple games that he played on it, I decided to get one (mostly because of the idea that you could play wth people around the world on it). But, now that I have it, it seems the only way I can connect to other people across the globe is if I have a wireless internet setup, which I don't. Is there any kind of adapter I can buy to use the second cable line in my room?

Call Best Buy. Or look on Nintendo's site. Wireless isn't a ton of money, and if you do xbox live or a PSP or PS3 you could use it for that.

No adapter. Just get a wireless router. You can find decent ones on sale at best buy for 30-40 bucks.

Theres no adapter? theres one for the Wii, but as mentioned wireless routers are pretty cheap. maybe you can tap into one of the neighbors signal.

No adapter needed as long as you buy a router, I think they had something for the DS that you plug into your USB port but its nearly as much as the router and being able to use the DS anywhere in the house instead of near your desktop/laptop is a huge benifit.

I have a DS and love it! I play Final Fantasy and Mario Kart on it, some times throw the old GBA games in and chop those up. Its perfect for drives, flights, long stays in hotels, wtv. I liked it so much I sold my PSP since it got most of my attention (and PSP games suck!).

+1 on going wireless. I have a PSP, and the 1st time I figured out I could sit on the can and look at the intarwebz I was so proud of myself. Normally I play 3 holes on Tiger Woods '06, but every now and then I go extra innings and have time for a little BBC news.

If that isn't the best use of a PSP, then I don't know what is...
