I like it minus the wheels/headlights and for some reason rear looks too busy, maybe it's the trunk lid/spoiler... if they sell this thing for under 35k it will probably sell well.Leave a comment:

Do you think there will even be an M variant?
This thing is already a twin-turbo six in a smaller body - 305+ HP - it's going to be fast. If they make it any faster, it'll be encroaching on the territory of the new M3 --- they won't want to lose M3 buyers to a cheaper BMW. Apparently the 135i is going to be about $37,000 base --- add some options and taxes and you're over $40,000 easily. It'll get expensive --- so imagine how much an M1 would be...
Same theory as the Porsche Cayman vs 911.
Just my theory. But - they may be pushed at some point to put out an M1 --- hopefully they have some super-highly strung modern S14 variant to throw in the car. Then I'll have to buy one, even if I have to sleep in the trunk and eat uncooked Ramen.Leave a comment:

I would take this over the new 3 coupe any day.
My only question is, what is the ///M variant going to be called? They wouldn't dare call it an ///M1.Leave a comment:

Awesome looking car. Someone start working on a plan to swap that motor into the e30...I will give 2 years before someone actually attempt it.Leave a comment:

Holy SHIT ... major motivation to start working ASAP once I get out of school.
That thing, modified, is going to belittle the E92 M3Leave a comment:
