Try and find some stuff by DJ Trashy, he is a local DJ that residents out of Ampersand in New Orleans. Some of his stuff is eh, but then there are those other songs that just make you want to drive faster than possible.

        Although I secretly like oakey....

But yeah, I agree with Luke too, definitely explore some other genres! I try to do that a lot which is why I'm a celtic fiddler who listens to Prodigy and Daft Punk.

This is a little self-serving, but I'd love it if you'd give some of my music a listen, myspace link in my sig. I'm new to techno so it's kind of an experiment for me and I always love to hear feedback from people who know the genre.

        Thanks!

The man is asking for trance recomendations, he never said he doesn't like other genres of music.

I always get back to trance from other stuff... its like a drug! a music drug. Now that I've started to try and do some of my own stuff it has gotten worse! haha but I love the trance music.. definately one of the most interesting genres!

I often listen to this Shoutcast channel at work:

It is mostly high energy techno and trance from Europe.

Also, check out Ronski Speed if you get a chance.

Longer previews (2 minutes), and its dedicated to just trance, house, techno, drum & bass, and the like...you can also buy the songs if you want, but it gives you the title and artist, so you can always go "find" it elsewhere as well.

                        Enjoy!
