    Aircraft with no markings?

A helicoper has flown by the front of the house today twice and the first time i thought that it was the Maryland state police. But when it went by the 2ed time i went out side and seen it. It was a Apache with no markings and was a light gray in color. I allways thought that we put the United States of America on them, did they stop doing that? Or is it some test chopper?

Must be like a test chopper or something unless you havea rich neighbor that could go buy his own.

My guess is that it was someone who went to the dealership to buy one and they were taking it for a test drive.

light grey sounds like Navy....but they dont have apaches (I think). Marines? Could be painted all grey to aid in camouflage. Big red, white and blue logos are easy to see.

You live near camp David, I thought I found it once, but then I realized it had to be much harder to find, let alone drive right near it.

Camp David is up this way? I know that there is a super secret military thing in Artemas PA about 20miles east of me as the crow flyes. And i think it is all under ground. That place is protected heavily. But you never see anybody around till you get close to it.

That sounds like the most viable reason out of them all. Seriously :)

I normally never see any markings of any sort around here, just the Big white star on Lifestar heli. I normally see the huge carrier planes that fly pretty low ( noo idea what its called), ones that look like black hawks, some chinooks, and every now and then if I'm lucky I get to see an A-10 Warthog, and I'm in NW CT

You sure it was an apache? Cause could it have been a cobra ie the picture right myah.

I know these things are regulary painted gray for Marine use. From this pic it doesn't seem like it has many markings on it either.
