Dhl Ftl!?!

So, I got a "Remittance Advice / please return with payment" letter today from DHL.

I shipped a valance to a forum member a few months ago (april?) and got a letter today asking to pay $176.74 , WTF YO.

WTF is this shit, now I gotta find my paperwork showing that I already paid for it when DHL came over and picked up the damn package.

I say if you packed it well, and paid for shipping - you are done. All Dutys, taxes and surcharges are the buyer prolbem on their end - I'll never ship to canada again....I had the same prolbem...

HERE IS A SAMPLE of shipping to Canada...

a.) "why is it not here?"
then...

b.) you suck as a shipper

(then a week later)

c.) I called - they can't even track it anymore

(two days later)

d.) You ripped me off man, I'm going to kill you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(a week later)

e.) Oh hey dude, it arrived just as you said, sorry.. I did have to pay a tax on it it was a $1.50. You went above and beyond tracking - sorry man, hope all the negative feedback I left wont hurt you too much. OH LOL - oh and doing at least 30 phone calls - But hey, "I'll leave feed back".....

Called DHL this morning to file a claim. I have to now find 3 months old paperwork showing exactly how much and when they charged my card and call them back.

I am never going to use DHL ever again...this is lame.

DHL sucks bad !! A buddy of mine shipped a mtn bike overnight to a pro rider for a competition in Colorado sometime back so that he would have a few days to ride and get use to it by the race. Well 5 days later it showed up making him miss the race riding that bike for this manufacture. They are completely incompetent.
