New TV Just Got Delivered...

Got the Playseat set up tonight using my boss' 37" Trinitron, which is on loan to us 'till I have a chance to sell it on Craigslist...

It's hooked up to the PS2 playing GT4...

Came home today to find a surprise under the TV. My roomate picked it up today. My PS3 will be here on Thursday according to Amazon.

It'll be quite the duo, I think.

I've been looking around for a DLP too, No point in LCD or Plasma for me right now, they are still a little too much for what you get.

You need to hook that playseat up to that 60" SXRD !! It will rock trust me I use mine on my 50" and its amazing feels like you are in a real car while playing GT4 !!

Too big IMO. At least for your configuration. Sitting that close to it (like on the couch) would kill your eyes, not to mention anything not HD would look like shit up that close (or far away for that matter).

HD TV's are so pointless in my opinion right now. There isn't enough good quality stuff to watch yet unless you want to spend a ton on Blueray or HD-DVD. Then you can only watch what comes out. Cable on that would look TERRIBLE.

Now that I'm done ranting (lol), I will say ti is a nice TV and I would like to ahve one if I had a video/movie room. But even then I'd rather have a projector. ;)

Here in San Diego we get something like 30 HD cable channels.

And of course I have the Playstation3 coming in, which lets me play Blu-Ray movies.

I'll agree on the size, in a room that small, a TV that large is going to look really nasty.

As for regular cable, with component ins, it actually looks halfway decent on my DLP, obviously not as sharp as an HD feed, but much nicer than what I've seen on most LCD/Plasmas.

I LIKE IT!!!! I got a 42" plasma in the living room, and have been finding it on the small size... have you found that one to be a little to big?

I just finished hanging this one in the bedroom..... it's only 32".. but it's plenty for the bedroom....

After you play Xbox360 you will hardly play PS3. The only thing it has going for it is the Blue Ray. Sony is taking a huge dump on the lagging sales of the PS3!
