Yes, I did actually, and it doesn't make any sense. The article states:

This honestly makes no sense. They went to the "Linux boards?" What boards? Running a Google search turns up more than 2 million results for such a topic. Could they be a bit vaguer?

Additionally, the author makes reference to the "Linux community" and states that said community asks how many man-hours that the company would put toward the "overall Linux project." Again, this is not only completely ambiguous, but also ridiculous. How is it possible to get the opinion of an entire community from a few message boards? No self respecting group of enthusiasts would offer support in return for development to the "overall Linux project."

I have a feeling the author just wanted to avoid this question all together. You cannot draw conclusions about such an operating system from just the few sentences contained in this article.

Oh, and at its core, OS X is just another UNIX like operating system based on BSD.

And it's not slang, Using a 3 instead of an E is an incorrect way of spelling a word, this does not make a word slang. It just get's a point across when people try to read it. Try saying that word and you'll realize there's nothing slang about it, it's just mis spelled to make a point.

apple are overpriced. Until they come down in pricing, PCs will continue to dominate them in sales.

I love it as well that when Apple started bragging about how they "don't have virus problems" that a whole new whorde of viruses were released for them.

Shouldn't Apple peeps try to keep PC users away, so that they can continue to enjoy their lack of need for virus protection? Just a thought
