While my last machine was fully custom, I built it myself. In fact, if you actually want to be on the cutting edge its the only way to do it. Currenty neither apple nor any other brand of PC has dual overclocked GTX8800s with Intels new V8 architecture. Shit, apple is still running two older series in their Pro machines.

Awesome. Go play erector set with your computer. I use apple because it does everthing I need without messing with it and they brainwash me by not making it feel like using it is science class.

And it's not really the hardware. it is how effortlessly the computer works as a whole, providing very little user hassle. The MAIN reason I like apple over PC is it gets things done without me having to mess around. My best friend is one of the top salesman at CDW. Been to Europe with him 3 times, friends for almost thirty years now. Cat's got 5 computers in his basement that I guaruntee are way more souped than yours. I've used those alot. Apple is just a much more peaceful, serene, less ....cubiculesque expierience. For me it's more like hiking than going to work.

Depends on what business your in. If your selling aluminum siding get a PC. If your on wall street, probably a PC. If you go other places, you'll be better off with a Mac. I'd bring your proffessor a box lunch.

Not really here for victory. I still like apple's better. Apple provides what I need out of the box. You may like to build it and then tinker with it. Even if yours run well they don't run like an apple. And like I said it's not the hardware I'm talking about. It's more the peace of mind and the way it operates. That's why I look way past PC's. To me there boring, Kinda like the way you're becoming to me.
