    I'm sorry.

After taking mountain corners (tahuya, bear creek, etc) all day at double to triple their recommended speed limit on my motorcycle and then suffering riding my e30 on the way to my apartment, I can honestly say cars are boring as fuck. :(

I hopped in the car and was like 'wow. im going so sloow' and looked down and I was going 60 in a 35.. it just felt boring :(

What am I gonna do? :(

edit: I guess it doesn't help my center support bearing/flex coupling/ guibo are completely fucked either.

Still doesn't beat the rush of a bike. I am buying a 135i in the spring though so maybe that will change my mind.

Cars do suck, but until they outright ban cell phones in cars, I'll stick to dirt.

I had a R6 a couple summers ago, and I just had too many times where I nearly got mowed down, even had a guy in a Ford SUV with his laptop open across the steering wheel blow a stop sign on me - good thing I always wait to see the front of a oncoming car dive (hitting the brakes) before I pull into intersections, otherwise that day in particular I'd be Spam.

Streets are clogged with the worst possible drivers, and you are at their total mercy without your cage. I turned in my street bike for a dirt bike late in the fall, and the parts counter guys I knew all said they went through the exact same phase and then went dirt, because sadly it's just that much safer. You will flip over the bar, crack a few ribs from time to time, maybe break/sprain a few fingers or a wrist, but death factor seems a lot less.

Plus the fact that on the dirt you never risk your drivers' license like on a rocket. I'd be lying if I said I didn't hit triple digits at least once every couple days on that thing, and I hear that is pretty much everyone elses' story too on a rice rocket.

I can do the dumbest thing I want on dirt, and it might put me in the hospital, but at least there isn't a cop waiting to take me down to the jail afterwards.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

Yeah, we mostly ride mountain streets on weekdays where there is low traffic, no one to pull in front of you, and nothing but animals to worry about hopping out in front of you when you're going 100+ down the straights. Its a risk but it sure as hell is fun.

If you want to add excitement to your car, just take off the doors and then you will be more aware of the fact that you are sitting less than 12 inches above street level.
