Anyone have an ipod shuffle?

I need to get 5 mp3 players for work. The thing is we use satellite radio, which can shit out from time to time.

So I need to put a mp3 player at each restaurant for backup music. Problem is it needs to be able to charge and play at the same time. I know the crappy ipod competitors generally use disposable batteries so I can't keep it plugged in or anything.

Cheaper is better, I only need like 1:30 of music and its just gonna be plugged in all the time. So I was thinking of getting some shuffles.

So, can you play music while its charging on a shuffle? I have never owned one so I don't know how those ones work.

it charges via USB and cannot be listened to while doing such, buuuut if you have a car adapter, you can play it while, so maybe a wall-charger would work.

Hmmm, does it come with a wall charger? Seems like no damn ipods these days do.

depends on what kind of shuffle it is, new ones charge through headphone port, so wont work, but new ones will work and charge at the same time, i have owned onw, old you can get for like 20-50bucks on like craigsslist or ebay.

I have an old school regular ipod, and it plays while charging... and comes with the charger. Id look online and get a used old school one or five.

They even make it simple for you and group the ipods in a separate group so you don't even have to browse through them.
