Espresso machine owners - latte art?

Hard plumb is so the way to go, 'cept for the time I came home to 2+ gallons of water all around my machine. Still won't change it though.

im using 1%. how are you frothing? i mean what process do you use? and to what temp?

i have a La Cimbili auto hard plumbed in with a Mazzo Brevetto grinder
i set up a wholesale account with a place called Kaldi Gourmet Coffee in north carolina. i use french roast espresso beans and if you buy 10lbs at a time shipping is free. 5-6 bucks a lb depending on what you get. i have another commercial coffee machine in my wifes dental practice so buying beans 10lbs at a time isnt an issue. im doing a latte right now. i was installing a motor this morning so i didnt get to it. pics to follow

EDIT.... OK CUT ME SOME SLACK BECAUSE I DONT HAVE the proper tools here but this is the best i can do with what i have. i serve these to all the visiting blunt tech dignitaries from foreign countries

Call me gay all you want, but the concept of art in anything you do isn't too hard to grasp, save having a simpleminded intellect.

A few years ago I thought it would be cool to buy a Miele built in, and I am so not happy with it. Oh well it looks nice in my cabinet, but coffee art? FORGET IT!

Blunt - I'm so gay (Jean was right & didn't know it) I have both an Isomac Millenium & a ECM Giotto. The Isomac is plumbed to the house, the ECM is backup. Mazzer Mini grinder since that's more important than the machine.
If you aren't on www.coffeegeek.com , don't. You will find justification at some point to spend way too much on a machine hanging out over there.

I'd kill to find a good groove to get a good rosette, probably part of my O/C.
I've never used richer than 2% milk, so maybe that's part of it. I used to drink a lot of breves(doc made me quit = high cholesterol), but that was before deciding to try latte art, so I've never tried with 1/2 & 1/2.
