I am so glad. Skateboarding has gotten completly of base lately. It's all about pleasing the crowd. Don't give me that "skateboarders need a challenge" bs. These mega ramps need to be addressed. I know it is their choice, but something tells me the winning for that contest are high enough to tempt even the uber wealthy skaters. Hucking yourself off a moto-x ramp isn't my idea of a good time, nor is it my idea of skateboarding.

Vert guys are tough plan and simple. Pro skateboarders get fucked up on a regular basis. They are tough as shit. So are BMX pros, and actually Rollerblade pros. I have seen the skatepile guys do some pretty hairy shit on rollerblades around atlanta. Shit that I would never do on a board, even when I was at my best.
