Well, I live in Corvallis during the school year and Winco defiantly has 6 packs of Hamms pounders. when its on sale its the cheapest beer money can buy.

I do still have standards though, Natural Ice is just foul piss water.

            Moosehead.

            Molson Golden.

            Corona Extra.

            Sam Adams Summer Ale.

            Blue Moon Hefe.

            Red Stripe.

            Killian's Irish Red.

These are beers I like that are readily available in the US. There are plenty of others out there but most are not available in a standard US supermarket...

Wait a sec....that big bottle of Arrogant is $50?!? Not in a million years, and I like A.B. - but these overpriced "Beer snob" things are rediculous.

I've keeps eyeballing those $15 liter bottles of "limited" Rogue beers, but eyeballing is all I do - ain't no way I blow that much on a bottle of beer.

I like all the standard PNW brewery beer (especially Boundry Bay's stuff), but you get much darker than a deep amber, and it turns into a meal in a mug.

However, when I'm light on cash, there's nothing wrong in my world with a good ol'

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

Never really liked Fat Tire or Drop Top... Fat Tire is too grainy for me, Drop top has a funny aftertaste.

this is a strong influence of my choices. Don't want to have to drive miles to get my true brew.

I thought I saw it for $75. Excise taxes may vary.

Some microbrews are cool and for enthusiasts with recommendations for matching to a meal, but all the off-the-wall mentions are annoying to me.

Coors, Miller, and Budweiser all give me a total system failure. Why would you choke down horse piss? Might as well enjoy what you are drinking, otherwise why do it? To get shitty drunk on the cheap? welcome PBR.

Nah, if you want shitty drunk cheap you can't beat hard alcohol. After drinking SHIT tequila and rum, my friend decided a good nightcap would be 3 shots of Everclear. After calling his girlfriend a piece of shit a few times (jokingly, but annoying as shit), he fell asleep on a wood floor.

Aaaaanyway, someone introduced me to Dogfish Head's line of products. I like their fruit beer, the Raison d'Etre. Their 60 and 90 minute is also mighty satisfying.
