Hope you don't have Chinese tires

DOT has recalled numerous cheap Chinese tires, check out the DOT/NHTSB site for details.

I knew it was too good to be true! The local auto center here has this special where they give you 4 tires for $99 including the mounting and balancing.

It seems that the tires that are subject to the recall are only light truck radial tires. In other words, tires we would not mount on our E30s in ANY situation.

I mean, I can't imagine running any of the recalled sizes on any E30:
      Sizes and Models involved:
      Models Partial D.O.T. Number
      LT235/75R-15 CR861, CR857 7DT5FTS.. .........
      LT225/75R-16 CR861 7DT8FTS.. .........
      LT235/85R-16 CR860, CR861, CR857 7DT2FTS. ..........
      LT245/75R-16 CR860, CR861, CR857 7DT3FTS.. .........
      LT265/75R-16 CR860, CR861, CR857 7DT4FTS.. .........
      LT31X10.5 R-15 CR857, CR861 7DT6FTS.. .........

Local news said popular car sized tires. Must have been an oops by them.

I wish they would recall Wanlis, I bought a se tof those 3 years ago, and they fell apart, and the sidewalls ripped apart. not to mention they were the loudest tire I have driven on!

When you run around on flat tires bad things will happen.

unfortunately, there's only been three deaths and one serious injury.
