            In all Honesty some words are harder to read at a normal rate than others.

            Some you don't even notice it and others are you do.

            Someone can throw in the standard

            "It helps if you can read" comment at any time.

              A particular reading excercise that I used to use when tutoring people with functional reading problems was this:

              Franklin Featherstone is sometimes referred to as the Father of Refrigerated Freight, because of his efforts in publicising the benefits of this form of transport.

              And then I would ask the person to count the number of F's in the statement after they were done reading it. Most people will usually say 11 or 12 but NOBODY that I have ever used it on has ever got it right the first time. There are 14 F's in that statement but people tend to overlook the F in the word OF and 2 F's in the word "efforts."
