Free app called Photsynth...ironically created by Microsoft for the Apple iPhone

Not really for the iphone, it was out on desktop OS'es a long time ago, its a Silverlight plug in for browsers too. Its pretty cool. They also had one that would cut/paste images that was free in the lab before but now has been rolled into Win7. Its like photoshop for dummies.

I always am afraid of "custom" shops being clean.... More time spent cleaning the shop, the less time is being spent on the cars.

Not necessarily, it can show how unorganized and unprofessional the shop is. There work may be good but, if I wanted my Porsche or whatever restored and I came into a shop like this I would turn around. Its a big turn off for me, just saying. I'm a clean freak.

im the same way, if they do amazing work i would still be concerned that my car would be a work bench or have something fall against it or the like.

there is plenty of time to keep a shop clean.

a shop that does good work will *generally* keep a clean and uncluttered environment.

personally, I equate the cleanliness and organization of the shop with detailed and professional-quality workmanship.

not saying that a dirty shop can't do good work but i'd prefer the guys who give a shit about their own place
