Little ride into the Back country again today. Again all with a Moto droid
Looking back to the SW Over the stillwater forest way above the E fork of Swift Creek (at about 5600' Still some pockets of snow, and even more up higher yet)
Bottom section of a very steep creek, feeding red medow creek about 12 miles south of the Canadian border (as the crow flies) comming outta a lake 1000' above.
Looking E/NE at the North western Peaks in Glacier park, parke peek, Numa Peek and a few others I dont feel like digging my maps outta my pack to look them up
Same Pic just zoomed and with the breeze and Intense sun at my back made the trees in the fore ground come out like a painting and I think its neat.

The Appalachian mountian area does have some beautiful scenery and beautiful flora IMO but the Northwest has the most awesome views!! Glacier Park has to be one of America's most stunning attributes to our demographics - Ive been to Montana twice and first time was to Flathead and the second was to Glacier - I definitely see Glacier as the better of the views!
I want to take a cross US road trip to see the Big Basin Redwooods in CA one day too!! These are the times I wish I didn't sell my XJ Jeep to buy my E30 LOL but it IS an ix!!! My luck my poor little ix will shit the bed half way through the trip :p
