    Soldering surface mount LED's is hard...

    but worth it I'd say:







    For those that don't understand, I added LED's to the trigger buttons on my PSP. Purely for looks. And surface mount LED's are about the size of 4 grains of sand with two soldering terminals on them. :crazy:

    Oh, and my screen is broke, that's just a background that makes people freak out. lol

    SMT's???? oh you are as crazy as I am... Good work man!

    SMT's are ***insane*** to hand solder...

    Soldering is sick fun, I just put a order in for a new gun. insane $$$ too, but I need it.

    Nice to see there are some guys that mod stuff around here...

          For reference, this is how small they are:



          I was using ones like the smaller one in that picture.

          I actually use a butane powered soldering iron for all my soldering. I got tired of trying to find an electric iron that was good. This is what I use:



          THe pointed tip it has was a bit big for soldering this stuff, but I managed.
