ok, so sitting in rush hour for an hour in the morning, to sit in an office for 9 hours, then sit in rush hour for another hour in the evening is just not working out for me.

Plus the job is mundane and repetitive. No challenge what so ever. My major challenge is not sleeping at my desk or playing on the intersweb.

Dear Young,

I am writing to you today to officially tender my resignation from Company XXX. My last day of employment will be June 8th, 2007.

Given the opportunity to explore new areas unfamiliar to me and increase my experience both in life and work, I have chosen to accept employment at a different company.

I enjoyed working at Company XXX, particularly with the laser mask zones and the PE project. Because of that, I have decided to take a systems engineering path and try to remove myself from the technical aspect of engineering. The work has been interesting, the people have been a pleasure to work with, and I can’t stress enough how much I’ve learned from all of the great influences that I’ve come in contact with, and the responsibilities I’ve taken on.
