So because he was getting into a 1000hp car, he should have assumed that he was probably going to be rendered a vegetable? That's the same kind of bullshit rationale defense lawyers use to try and discredit rape victims who were dressed provocatively and in a club with mostly men.

Please, please don't be one of these self-righteous assholes who thinks something tragic has only happened to them. I've had friends die in horrific car accidents as well, including one where the kid driving lived. I know how it feels to lose close friends to careless accidents.

There's a kid locally who's spending the next 10 years in prison, having already done 5, for being involved in a street race in which the kids in the OTHER CAR ran off the road and died. So he got slapped with manslaughter charges, and under a new measure passed here, he got 15 years because they stated that since he was the one who incited the race, it's his fault that the 16 year old girl and her friend in the 400hp Eclipse couldn't control their car, and spun off the road and died. He wasn't even in the same FUCKING CAR, and he's spending 15 years in prison. But Mr. "My dad is the Hulkster" spends a couple of months in jail, and now you try to tell me he's "paying for it"?

Veedubin, Im not saying he should rot in prison. I think he should have done more time though. Even if no more time.... lets not say hes paying for it, he has to live with it, and all that other lip service. It doesnt effect me at all either. I have mixed feelings on it, like I said his friend knew what he was doing. I feel if Nick would be genuine, and seem honestly distraught, and remorseful, people wouldnt be so hard on him. but hes not. That is all.

actually thats FL law. My friend that I am talking about killed his best friend in a drag racing accident in Orlando. Sam was also injured but only did house arrest and community service. And had to also pay restitution to the family. Thats it! I see Sam on occation and it still eats at him. Badly. Thats all!

Again I dont care for Nick personally. I dont know the kid other than the 2 hours he spent at the local car show.

fixed. ive driven a 700hp supra. yes it makes power. but like any other car there is a throttle, that requires a human to push it. if the kid is lacking in skills (which he shouldnt as he is a drifter wannabe) then that is his responsibility not to drive that car. now that i think of it, it was the hulksters $$ that built it, maybe he should be held responsible for building the car and allowing his son to drive it?

oh well, im done. i can deal with the hulk hogan its the rest of his family that gets on my nerves.

I dont see why ANYONE is defending this guy. had he not been famous no one would give the slightest fuck.

He got off easy. Should have been vehicular manslaughter at the very least especially considering the car, the road conditions and his driving record. The passenger might as well be dead as far as I'm concerned.... Honestly with half his skull missing and not being able to perform basic functions he is living off of a machine which isnt living by any means.
