To me, excessive and indulgent have negative connotations.

I don't think Wal-Mart would even brand shit "Excessive Nutrition Dog Food" or "Indulgent Choice Diet Cola". Maybe when dealing with Sam's Choice chocolate, the word Indulgence can be worked in. Indulgent Lead-Based Chinese Synthetic Cocoa Byproduct Bar.

Maybe go Greek with the name. Alpha Auto Detailing. MasterBeta Automotive Services.

If you plan on doing car audio / security, don't be too hasty to add "Detailing" into your business name.

Or go with some words that imply quality, or an elevated state.

Thanks. However, it is all too often in the automotive industry that the name means the exact opposite of what you actaully get.

I like the buffin and hand job detailings, lol. But thatd be good for the lower to mid level customers. I feel if youre trying to hit the upper echelon (sp?) of the market, Auto Lust is great. Its simple for even the dumb asses to get, but just those 2 words pretty much sum it up.

Want to keep the higher end customers? It'll be in more than the name. If you dont hire a bunch of immigrants to wash someones F150 or their M6, theyd probably feel more comfortable. It may work with a civic or a neon, but not if youre aiming for the higher market. The number one reason why I wash my car myself... besides the fact that its an E30... is because I dont want to worry about what the car wash guys are going to steal out of the ride.

I think Auto lust is a good start, then the rest is up to you, and your quality of work.

                            Thanks.

The target is the upper crust. There will be no one working for me that is not white. I am not an equal opportunity emp.

Precision is all nice cars. the least nice car would be a Volvo v70, and those are still pretty nice.

sounds like a lawsuit in the making BUT I do not blame you. When I had a detail business back in the 90's That was my thinking as well. Although I did not look for retail business much at all. I had a good regular retail base that was cash only but 99.9% of my business was wholesale with the car dealers. I had 13 employees(10 detailers & 3 runners plus myself) and was doing 30+ cars a day. I had just about all the big dealerships (over 25 different accounts) in my area and alot of them I was doing new and used car services for them. Some(Jaguar, BMW, Infinit, Lexus, MB) I was even doing customer service work for as well... I had to carry a 10 million dollar liability policy to cover the all the cars and building that I would have at any given day. At anytime there would be over a 100 cars in my hands and was one huge juggling act.....

For a couple years I want to be low volume. then stage into that sort of business as it would be more profitable. then I guess I can hire a black mop boy and a couple asian women to occupy the customers :)
