I didnt say Michigan deserved to win anywhere, did I? Because Im pretty sure I didnt. 2 blocked kicks is HUGE.... but lucky. If youre gonna put your game on the line based on blocked kicks, you will lose more than you win. In this particular game, App state did win 3/3 of the game. Lets take some things in to account:

1) Its App state, 1-AA rival
2) Its week 1
3) Two blocked kicks

If this match up happens in week 5, it wouldnt be close. Id be an idiot to say that Michigan didnt get beat in the game, and deserved to win. But you and whoever else, would be an idiot to say Appalachian State is a better team than Michigan.

you can make all the excuses you want, but Michigan did NOT play that bad of a game, look at their numbers. They were just beaten, plain and simple. Is ASU the better team? no, we have a budget 1/10th of Michigan and 22 less Scholarship players. Did ASU outright win that game? Yes.

and yes, I do believe that ASU can compete with/ win against any team in the nation. We have been right at the door of beating a BCS team the past 3 years, and I am honored that it finally happened against a team with the winning history of Michigan (most winning program in history i think?)
