I see where you're coming from, but I believe that the smaller, less known underdogs are what makes college sports great. With bigger schools having more recruiting power, college sports become more like professional sports. Just like the Yankees and the Red Sox have an advantage by paying more, large market schools have the advantage in recruiting. Sure, this advantage partly comes from years of winning, but it is also comes from the deep pockets of boosters.
But in the end, I don't really care. UW is in the shits with Tyrone Willingham, and the Seahawks are about to win their first superbowl. I'll keep my posts in that thread for now.
