All these little Unique auto sport wannabe shops

this one is about window tint...
oh and after they offered to put 18" chrome wheels on it (what offset)
they give me some standard measurement and spacer excuse.

here is the link to there shitty ass shop..
you can tell what kind of work they do just by the page.

so back to the widows, first they had horrible gaps, and guts where instead of cutting the film they like ripped it. THEN since its old. the bubbles will be there, the glass is old and the little rocks and pebbles behind the film are becuase its old..... so i point to how good the window is that they just did! and wow he agrees and find out his crack head window tinter is lying about everything even the reason my car is there...
so they re do the front four windows. but not the rear.. "its old" and supposedly the guy is getting fired i rolled down the window to see the gap and what do you know, its there. also there is wisker like little fibers all over the window and the back looks like it has sand in it....

BOTTOM LINE: these shitty as shops have no standards, they will do everything to get out of there mistake.
and there dangerous.. "hub centric rings are not necessary, The lug nuts hold the wheel in place, if it wobbles then you need them"
thats a quote from the owner..
they basicly just order your shit off ebay for you, thats all... HA! they think there custom...

    thats all for my rant.

Tint shops are a dime a dozen and when you goto the cheaper priced stores well thats what you get in return. Cheap ass work and materials used. The place I have used for years is far from being cheap but they take the tint to the edge of the door glass, so no gaps, and if they have to do back windows in more than on piece that the seams are hidden behind defroster lines. Most rears they are able to do in one piece though. There is no gravel or shit in the final or they will tear it off and redo it before you get a chance to see it. They use the highest end of films including the new ceramic coated film for the new cars with navigation stuff built in the windows of the car.

I can't stand that sawed off runt owner of Unique. I hate that show like nothing else. I'd rather watch cooking shows than those bozos.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

          Unique does good work.
My friend has two cars on display there as we speak. They have done four of his five cars.
Sidebar: the owner is a bit short;)

Tree, if you are ever in Orlando you can get them redone and the front window tinted if you want. I have limo tint on the rear window and dark % on the other 4. The guy came to the house and charged me $125.

BTW, don't you have keys to an Abrahms?

I have seen numerous threads on several forums that show what thier work really looks like, pretty terrible. I'll try to dig one up.

Mine have always been done in one piece, the E30, E36 and the E46. The process was to lay the tint on the outside of the clean rear window. Then they used a heat gun to mold it to the curvature. Once done it is then placed on the inside and there are no seams.

I guess because competition is tough in Florida they must be good to survive. BTW, no rims available.

There are cheap shops, because there are cheap customers who don't want to pay.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

                            Exactly !

This is what you get/can expect in ANY military town in the states .
They are full of stoopid assed young enlisted guys with $$ burning a hole in their pockets .

Why do you think all those lame towns are full of Pawn Shops and Car Lots ??

Dude you could seriously take a Saturday and drive down to Austin or up to Dallas and get quality work for the same price .
