It was on Kick off coverage. He hit #12 on Denver, whoever he was, he was returning the kick off. And Everett came in, put his shoulder into him, and didnt move. Didnt lead with his head or anything, just kinda a freak thing.

They played the best team in the league (according to many experts) and were dominating them on Defense, to bad Vasher had to get a late hit in on Rivers and that crazy punt bouncing off McGowan. They were in there and played them pretty strong. The fumbles and the stupid Vasher penality cost them the game.

I'm more bummed about Mike Brown, that's the last time we'll see him on the field.
Dusty got hurt too, haven't heard how bad though.

I was pretty happy the way the D played, too bad the O couldn't stay on the field long enough to give them a breather.

          Ugh, Mike Brown.

I didnt see what happened to Mike Brown..... I cant find it on yahoo sports either.

But stupid penalties, and misfortunes, like dropping to motherfucking punts, are going to happen in week 1. Not much you can do about it besides put an old lady in there who can actually catch the punt.

Because Rex shows flashes of being really good and they'll never admit that they were wrong about his greatness

Kyle Orton led them to a decent record in 2005. ITs not rex, its the defense. They shoulda went after Jeff Gaycia.

truff...out of all positions where you need consistancy... qb is it. Rex doesnt in anyway provide it.

anyone would be better then rex

Kyle did OK in 05, Did just enough to manage the game. I still remember in 05 against the Falcon's in a night game. It was pretty cold, the D was keeping Mike "I love the dogs" Vick under wraps (as always, they had his number) but Kyle on the other side wasn't doing Jack. At half time Lovie pulls Orton and puts in Rex which was his 1st playing time since preseason that year. The crowd goes nuts with Rex coming in, he goes on to lead a few TD drives and wins the game.

Since the new season is hear, am I the only one who really can't stand that new for last year sunday night wrap-up show "football night in america" I really miss the ESPN Primetime wrap-up with Berman and Jackson. That was a great show to catch-up on the highlights. Even my wife would watch it and she won't watch football outside of the Bears games.

                              Wait, do you play rugby?

I played at a high level when I was in high school, and people would ask me how bad it hurt because we didn't wear pads. But in reality, the two can't be compared like that. Pads in football are used as a weapon as much as protection.

Many of the scrum halfs in rugby could not take the hits that many quarterbacks do.

                              Anyways back to football...

lol would you want to be without pads when a 400 pound linemen is running towards you?
