Actually, that test is really only useful when compared to the ethnicities of the population from which that person is bred. For example, Finnish people have masculinized 2D:4D ratios, so much so that their women's finger ratio is more "manly" than the finger length ratios of other parts of the world. My 2D:4D ratio is about ~1, but it doesn't make me gay because I'm of direct English decent, and that is about the normal ratio over there.
