I played rugby in college, but never really got into watching the pros on television. It's hard to get on tv in the states.
ohh yeah. me too back home I played for my school team. second raw , number 5. got hit by a naaassty tackle, went airborne and landed on my neck, luckily didn't break my neck, but broke my left arm though, in 3 places. that was my last game.

Hope it does not sound like im bragging :) i just love rugby
I played three years in high school and one here at school. Rugby is my favorite sport ever. It's such a team sport that it can't be matched. My team went undefeated in the regular season and won the PNRFU regionals the whole time I was there. Placed 7th, 3rd and 5th in three years at the national tournament. My junior year at nationals I broke a piece of my femur off and it was floating around in my knee. I finished the two remaining games and had to get surgery when I got home. I played #6, but I moved to #2 after the injury because I dind't quite have all of my strenght back in my legs by the time senior season came around. I was pretty big for a hooker, so I pretty much tore all the other ones up in scrums. But in the process I ruined my shoulder.
Both of my knees and my right shoulder will never be the same.
so basically u became the "Hooker" of the team ha? Flanker and Center is my fav posiotions but never got to play @ those 2 positions. Always a forwarder.
Hey did any one see the Italy vs Protugal match the other day? Protugese played amazigly. they lost but great come back, last time those two met Italy rapped them for 80-0.
