    E36 drivers crack me up.

So from time to time, I do security at local concerts and shows for a friend of mine, $10 an hour under the table, and I get to see the show for free. Well, there's this guy Mark that is usually always there, and last weekend, he showed up in his new car, an E36 4 door 328i. Pretty nice car, great shape. We got to talking, and he told me that he paid $8500 for it.

So later that night, after the show was over, we were outside making sure everyone got to their cars ok, and he noticed that one of the bands had parked their van and trailer right behind his car, leaving him blocked in, and the only way for him to get out was to squeeze between 2 trees, without about 2" of clearance on each side. So after he got his car out (just fine, he's walking around pissing and moaning, calling the guy a fucking asshole, which was understandable, until he said this, and I quote:

"What a fucking moron. Fucking $20,000 car, and the asshole parks his fucking van right behind me and blocks me in behind the trees".

I think I immediately lost just about all respect I had for the guy. Yeah, you've got a BMW. Yeah, it's nice. But don't fucking lie outright about the price of the car, especially when you've just told me not 3 hours earlier that you paid less than half that for it.

        i deliver pizzas.

that being said, i have 2 cars. a 92 honda accord HAGGERED POS and my 1990 325is. on nice days (when the car is actually running right, unlike the honda which runs awesome all the time) i enjoy slangin pies in it. i pull up to a dudes house and he looks down his driveway....

him "must be nice to be delivering pizzas in a bimmer."

me "its almost 20 years old..."

him "is that your car or your mom's car?"

me "its my car, it was under 3k..."

him "doesnt matter. its still making a statment"

me "uhhh ok... $26.73, here's your food"

needless to say he didnt tip me.

wtf. im coming from the vw community, i wanted a car comparable to my 94 jetta glx, but with the added awesomeness of rwd. not a big deal. so what if its a bmw. christ.

Mr. Anderson, I think it's a possiblity that he was even more tarded and he was reffering to the new price of his 328i.

That guy is just trying to show off his bitching BMW. I guess he was hopeing that no one would know better, and maybe pickup some skanky ass or something....

I drive an E36, and am not a douche like this guy.

You wanted a car that falls apart?
                    There is no comparison.
My e30 is more reliable than my 2002 jetta 1.8t. That's a fact.

haha, i have a 93 accord with 212k on it and it never lets me down, and my e30 never seems to be working 100%.

i get the same shit whenever a conversation comes up about cars. as soon as BMW comes out of my mouth, i am automatically seen as some rich bitch. sorry, but its a 17 year old sedan i got for $500, not a fucking '07 douchemobile.

                      *end rant*

When i got his by a drunk driver in my 2002 i came out yelling about how expensive it is to replace a nose panel and inner fenders. People were looking at me like i was a tard - to them they nailed an old POS brown car. Sometimes when you get pissed that kinda shit comes out.
