I have subscribed to eurotuner for maybe 5 years now. I started getting it because I saw an e30 in it a while ago.

/Start rant here:

I swear to fucking god. The last 3 e30s that have graced that mags pages have been total shit buckets that make me wanna drop a load in my pants as to look at them.

Every one of those fugly mother fuckers just puts "e46" bumpers on it and smooths everything down so it looks like a bubble. Then put some huge ass stereo in it to slow that POS ETA down even more. Then when you look at the "engine specs" part its like "chip and CAI" WOW FUCKING WOW. HOW DID THEY DO SO MUCH?!?!

I'm really starting to debate unsubscribing (only thing keeping me is I have nothing better to read while taking a chunky long shit). All it is is VW, I'm fucking sick of VW. And what gets me is tons of people bitch about it and they are like "ohhh theres no good bmws around to put in" FUCK THAT come to r3v and I guarantee you will find dozens of cars that are way better than anything else ran in that mag.

Even when there is a damn bmw its ALWAYS a fucking e36. Or some new one that I could care less about, I can't afford it, most people who read the mag probably can't, so why the fuck should I care. Its supposed to be an enthusiasts mag to show you what you can do to your old bucket of crap. If I want to see how nice a new BMW is I will drive my ass to the dealer and fucking drive one.

I don't know how this happened, but theres going to be another e30 next issue. I swear 3/4 of the VWs in the world must of just crashed because seeing 1 e30 in that mag is rare enough, let alone back to back issues of them. If this thing is a POS I quit. ET obviously has no idea what they are doing anymore.

fuck, even a lot of the BMW's in the other magazines look like ass, too. none of the door jambs line up, the bumpers all fit like shit, and they do horrible paint jobs.

i dont like car magazines for shit. sometimes i like to read them to find something interesting, but i just get frustrated so i close it up or put it back on the rack.

The last issue of Eurotuner I bought was about a year or so ago, with the RWD-converted MkIII GTi.

Got sick of E46s with lambo doors.

I subscribe to ET, and while the BMW's at the moment are the ghey, I think the VW's are looking nice. I really liked the article on Waterfest in this months issue.

But I do have to agree, just about every BMW mag out there has a 5:1 ratio of bad to good BMW's.

One of the euro mags that I picked up today though had a really clean cabby. It was calypso red and had an OEM+ theme going, I loved it. It was either PBMW or Total BMW, cant remember which.

A word of advice: always avoid any magazine with the word "Tuner" in the title. Same goes for TV shows.
