Comcast to FiOS

Getting FiOS tomorrow. Anyone gone from Comcast to FiOS? Is it as good as they say? I am getting the 30MBP/S line to my house.

Switched a couple months ago, and everything is way better. I haven't noticed a change in internet speed, but I'm far away from the wireless router.

Comcast cable blacked out frequently, froze once an hour for a few seconds, and had terrible customer service. Verizon's new menu system is a little busy for my taste, but I like most of it's features.

i have 6mbps DSL, its okay...
but still w/ 30mbps down and possibly 2mbps up
you should be flying!

Hell I just upgraded to Comcast.. I was on sub 1mbps DSL for years at my mother's house. I moved into my apartment and that all changed..

my house was changed while i was still there now in college with 56mbps down and 26mbps upload. but back at home it was much nicer than comcast far more reliable and tons faster plus better quality TV
