I was jumped many times on my board. Not by business owners, not by cops, but by a couple black dudes who jumped out of a jeep in traffic with something to prove, three homeless guys who figured out how much a truck can hurt, and countless rednecks who made fun of skateboarding. Never once did they cite "destruction of public property".
No one deserves to get their skull crushed, I have seen the aftermath as far as skateboarders go, and it isn't pretty. Everyone needs to chill. I started this thread b/c of TWO COOL PICTURES. The composition and lighting grabbed my attention, it could have been a picture of Blunt building a car to Dillsnick fixing an entire network. It doesn't matter... now you guys are threatening each other?
Blunt, NO one here really thinks you are going to bash a skater's head in for destruction of your property.... BTW you won't, as unrelenting as you are online you're still a small business owner so at least you have some shread of intelligence.
Do you have any kids, nephews, neices, grandkids? What happens when one of them becomes a serious skateboarder? You going to tear into them? As intelligent as your offspring may be, the chances of someone in your family skateboarding are pretty high.
But again I digress.

This thread is ridiculous. I got my face slammed on a marble wall by a rent a cop once for walking on a sidewalk with a skateboard in my hand. Blunt - honestly - it's incredibly easy to make it where people can't skate on your property. Also, it's really ridiculous of you to stereotype people who skate. I do it as much as I can - and I have my own house, a great job, a wife, ect. One of my best buds I used to skate with was an oncologist. You keep bring up trailers - but those guys all rollerblade. If you're really that worried about it donate some $$$ to have a free skatepark built. If not, quit moaning about it. All I've seen is a bunch of useless banter and no work being done. Thats a fast track to staying angry and getting your shit torn up.
