the coolest thing about the e30..

My e30 is one of the funnest cars I have driven, and I have driven a lot of different cars. The e30 is just so raw, like it is a real car not having all the comfort aspects of other cars. Makes me feel like I am not driving my living room around town.

Just my 2 cents on it. The car is just a blast to drive.

that says it right there. thats why im attracted to old bmw's. even more so 02's
my wife has a pretty nice e39 540 sport and i cant wait to get out of it and into my old junk

I think that the coolest thing about the E30 is that its an 80's car that does not remind you of the 80's.

Every time I see a mid-80's G-body I think of mullets and atari games.

I like it when I pop the hood at gas stations, I generally get at least one guy walking over from his car to ask how I rigged the hood to open forward.

so when im driving at night, and people flash their brights at me thinking i have mine on.
All i have are the euro ellipsoids but i guess they seem bright.
i just find it really cool that i have a whole other set of lights to flash back at them.
i wonder what they think.

anyone else find this fun about e30s?

maybe we could turn this into another one of "those threads" what do you find unique and fun about driving your e30? something that you cant get with other cars.

Ummmm, or maybe you need to align them ? I doubt other drivers think it's cool to blind them.

I guess bright lights are OK provided that you are the one behind them and you don't have to squint through that blinding beam of light.

I love my H1/H4's! With all four lights on high plus fogs, I can light things visibly more than a half mile away!!
