    3.2L M20 2002 in this month's SCC

Flipping through the magzines at Barnes & Noble today, came uopn a beautiful sight in this month's Sport Compact Car. A red 1969 2002, with a 3.2 liter M20, estimated to be putting out close to 300hp (magazine figures). It's got an S52 crank and rods, with JE pistons, and a Stack cluster inside. It's quite badass, I suggest you go pick up the issue post haste.

I may go an scan the article later, if y'all ask real nice like.

it's a good read... Kinda short. Takes about as long as JScotty giving Blunt a reacharound.

It's worth it for the pics, and for the engine, definitely. Good issue overall, too.

I stopped getting SCC about a year ago because of all the rice, but it looks like they're starting to go back to just covering GOOD cars.

Please, please, please post it up! I'm in the process of collecting parts for my own M20 stroker. I'd love to see what these guys have done.

I used to have about $70.00 per month budgeted towards mags. Nowadays, I just read r3v, and other assorted net sites. Unless I need books. Then Barnes & Nobles for some page flipping. SCC USCC caught my eye. The 2002 caught my $4.99.

My wife does a magazine drive for her Girl Scout troop every year, so I get most of mine through that for dirt cheap. The only magazine I buy outright is Performance BMW.

^ Yes it is. I spoke to them about it while placing an order, it seems that there are quite a few inaccuracies on the article itself.

Such as the hp figure? Sounded a bit far-fetched to me, but I've never heard of an M20 past 3.0L (Ted' s 3.0L stroker).

Actually the numbers (IIRC) is pretty legit. The mods and some background is what is off.

Wow. That's fucking impressive. I bet that thing goes through rocker arms like nothing. :D

It's not power that kills the rocker arms... it's revs. :p A 175hp M20 sitting at 7000rpms will pop a rocker before a 300hp one sitting at the stock redline.
