Have any of the Japanese automakers made an attempt to copy the body style of the Pacer? That is about the only shape that I have not seen duplicated.

Here's a funny one though, should we consider the current Accord a US car as 95% is built here in the US? It is designed in California as well from what I remember.

I think this was to get it into Nascar rules....to bad they don't offer a ohv V8 for them with an ancient carb.

Honda will most likely develop their own OHV v8 the same way Toyota did theirs. Two huge global brands putting millions of R&D into this old engine is really going to raise the stakes for the Detroit 3 to upgrade their engines with "in-house" engineering, and not rely on independent engine makers to tweak and massage their products. The competitors have said the toyota v8's might be putting out 40hp more than the 'domestic' v8's.

                Hate it.

Looks just like a tC from here. I hate those damn things, they are as rabid as damn hondas out here in the desert. Everyone and their damn dog has those piles, and they all look the same, except one might have the "SPORT MUFFLER" or the "COOL BODY GRAPHIC" or the "REAR SPOILER" OH JOY!

Honda used many e60 styling cues when they designed the new
accord sedan. They made an ugly design even uglier.

The accord coupe is ok though, except for the rear.

If there were three other cars in that picture the Accord would be invisible.

Honda should have used the e90 imo.

All sedans have basically the same shape and styling cues are limited to minor elements. If you cover the headlights, grilles, and taillights with sheet metal, there's very little variation. They were all styled by the wind tunnel.
