Went and watched some offshore boating racing this weekend. Thought I would share some of the pictures taken at the event. ENJOY ..... I have tons more to go through but this is a start.

Holy shit, if thats the same fucking car that someone just bought recently on here, thats so fitting. First thing I thought when I saw that hoopty was "Thats a fucking speed boad paint job".

I watched "Build it Bigger" and these boats were on there. They were doing a show on the Yellow Geico boat and it was amazing. That thing is running two Huey helicopter turbines both putting out over 1800 hp. They had to rebuild both engines within a couple days for their big race in Sarasota on the following weekend. They ended up winning b/c their main opponent (Budweiser) blew an engine and was out. Pretty awesome story though.

Yeah that Miss Geico boat was averaging over 188 mph on any single 5 mile lap they ran last weekend. The damn thing was not loud at all and had more of a whine to it than the roar that the others running big blocks had. If you look at the orange geigo caveman boat in picture 4 you will see its huge exhaust ports . It was also powered by turbines as well but was not racing for some reason, they idled out and just sat in the middle of the lake.
