Just to clarify - saying homosexuals cant be married is almost as stupid as saying black people can't get married. they don't choose to be black - that's just the way it goes. Same for gays. should they be deprived because of it? Absolutely not. If you want to shelter your children so be it. They are the ones that end up the most socially fucked.

I can tell you one thing - I couldn't be attracted to a man if i tried. Moreover, I can't choose which women I'm attracted to. Yeah - sure - You'll argue that there's more gay people then ever now. Maybe not. Take a look at romans, for one. Also note that it WAS majorly frowned upon in the recent past. Those who came out used to be majorly shunned. It's alot easier now. If you are suggesting that people try to fake it and attempt to live their lives as if they are heterosexuals - shame on you. I am sorry but you know how I know the other side has conceeded a debate? They start name calling... things such as "You are queer"...
Also I am pretty sure that you may or may not "remember it" but I am almost positive that studies have shown that during your child hood and growing up you have "gay dreams" or maybe think to yourself "Wonder what it would be like". I know most people won't admit but I am pretty sure science and experts have said it happens to everyone, dreams or a thought etc.
Now if you say, hey maybe I should just try it(choice). Then you LIKE it... you decide you are gay(choice).
Quit calling people names man. It shows that you have no real evidence and no support or backup. So you call someone a name.

But seriously, listen to what he is saying, whether it has been "studied" or not. Who would wake up one morning, knowing how discriminated and how poorly (not always but a few incidents) treated gays are. Who would make the choice to be gay and put themselves thru that? Doesnt make much sense in my mind.
