so in the beginning you asked for people opinoon only, and no arguments...lol oh well. Anyways i also did a paper a little bit ago for my com111. I said i was for gay marriage. While i dont necessarily hate them or like them(i am not gay btw), i think it is wrong to take away their privalges. It is just another way of taking away everyones rights...i dont think it will, but if stuff like this keeps on happening then it might end up like Hitler and the superior race, and the killing of many Jewish people. Since we have a democracy and not a monarchy...it will never happen here, but it is the same principle

Edit - Please excuse me, on Bimmerforums I was the 'laughing stock' as well because some kid decided a documented 31 days after receiving a set of seats that I sold him 'bad' seats. I had, as evident by the thread, atleast three other forum members see and touch the seats I sold, that backed my claims. The guy openly admitted that he had moved the seats twice before removing them from the boxes. So yes, I take it that I was the 'laughing stock' for not providing the guy a refund for the particular seats that he ruined.

Again, talk without facts. I did nothing to the bubble car. In fact the car was purchased when his daughter and I were broken up. I merely sold the car. Second, again, the E30 M3 elitests have such a problem destroying a half ass car to start with. 99% of people never saw the car, and 99% of the people never will. The seat thread was the biggest joke I have ever seen. Again, people using the internet to formulate opinions without knowing the person. Anyone wants to come down to NC and meet me in person, they are more than welcome to. Funny how such a tool can be such a success on every form of the internet except those of which people 'think' they are better than others. See the Porsche crowd just understands they are better than others. Most BMW owners, E30 M3 owners in particular, just 'think' they are.

I hope some of you conservatives see what just happened. dk & I had a bit of a beef within the last month, but here he's quoting me & we actually have common ground. He & I came to terms, and now things are fine. That is how love & acceptance works.

I hold onto my Christianity - and I don't think anything less of dk if it didn't fit for him. That's cool, maybe someday that will change for him, and even if not he & I know I never took any real cheap shots towards him.

I don't want to remotely infer that dk is gay, but just that "leaving the door open" is all that people should do for each other, whether you call yourself religious or not. Hell, I hope we meet at some point, as from parts of our verbal exchange he showed a real intelligence. I had to look up some words he used to understand what he was saying. He's a smart fella, or else he's got a hell of a thesaurus.

I just reread one of your replies to me. I never used religion in this debate, and I never will. I 100% believe in the seperation of church and state. They are of different entities and should function differently. The state seeks the good of the general welfare while the church seeks the good of the individual welfare. People that use religion as a basis for hating homosexuals are just going by irrational thought, but its what happens. I also am a 100% federalist supporter and believe that this issue should never be taken up by the federal government, but by the individual state governments who know the people best. The unfortunate part is that it doesn't appease all because we are in a situation such as today where you can be 'legally' married in Massachusets, but in North Carolina its illegal to hold a same-sex marriage certificate. Again, this issue of legality of 'marriage' will never be overturned until science proves it not a choice, or there is a panel of reformist judges. If the mass of the people want gay marriage to be legalized, then it should be; the will of the people. At its current state though, most people just don't care which is not enough to justify it.
