Good luck to all of you and stay safe. Get all meaningful personal items out of there and evacuate yourself if you need to...use common sense here

Well I'm sure his fire insurance will help him recover.

He DOES have fire insurance, right? RIGHT?

Couple of shots from work. The winds the fuel here.

In all, the 70+mph winds knocked 35+ trees down in the property my auto shop is in.

wow thats insane, that is almost Hurricane strength winds added with fire. I remember when the everglades were on fire down the street from my house. That was crazy and burned for weeks. But we never had that crazy wind at the same time.

News this AM says a lot of the fires are becoming contained. Thats great news!

He's fully insured at full replacement. Insurance doesn't cover all of the personal items like pictures, memorabilia and everything else you leave behind when you get a reverse 911 phone call and it's saying "THIS AREA LEAVE NOW! THIS AREA LEAVE NOW!" when you answer it. He had a lot of irreplaceable items packed but left behind who knows how much.

Sorry, guess I'm just a bit sensitive when I have a close friend who is trying to figure out how to move forward when you've lost virtually everything and someone posts "wahhhhh pussies, this shit is fun!" That's pretty low class to me.

                  Seconded.

Kinda hard to go back to work when you have no bed and no shower to go to. And no frige.

                  Where's Kellie?

I spoke Ben on the phone yesterday. I know she had been hanging out with him, but I don't know any current status.
