I just went for a jog, and the ash kept making me gag. I hope this gets resolved soon...best of luck to the people living right next to the fire.

Here's to hoping everyone is alright, good luck fellas.
I heard 600 last night, 700 homes this morning when I loged on at work, but 1200? I had not heard that, I guess thats what happens when your busy working, an additional 500 family's lost their homes. My thoughts/prayers are with them all.

Im having to deal with shitty air to breathe. The skys look like a nuclear winter scene in a movie... The Devore Fire is completly blocking out my "sun-ability" here. The gusts are about 40+ mph, and its a scary dry wind too. No moisture whatsoever.

Fire in San Diego / SoCal

You guys alright? Anyone here evacuated from their homes? My parents are away from the house in San Diego, but I'm getting pretty nervous from looking at these maps from the news :?

Updated 11/01/07. All evacuation orders have been lifted. Fire perimeters (not active burn areas) are based on County Emergency Operations Center data. They are no longer being updated. Thanks to our friends at SDSU's Geography department for their assistance. http://www.kpbs.org/fires http://maps.sdsu.edu

Remembering the fire from a few years back, the sky over San Diego must look pretty apocalyptic. Any one with pics?

Hope you guys stay safe, and I wish you and your families the best.
Working...
