wait...are you going UP that ramp and jumping what looks like a level gap before going around the banking? Or is that an optical illusion?

Who maintains all those weathering planks and frames?

Been spooked by this drop for a bit. Finally gave it a go and ended being super easy and fun...still big though.

Man that's a bummer. Bike thieves are the worst.

Somebody stole my son's mountain bike, from inside a "secure bike storage" shed at this apt building. Someone learned the security code, then snipped a master lock shank in half, so it was planned. Several others were stolen as well. Bummer. He was gearing up for a bikepacking trip.

It's a Salsa Ala Carte, steel frame. Could pop up somewhere in the NW maybe. Or stripped. He had it registered with the Bike Index.

Took me hours, I laced the new rim for the front, then did the rear using an old hub, one flange was right the other had the spokes exiting the hub the wrong way... took forever to figure out how to get it right. Then I relaced the front the same way... then I did it again with the hub facing the same way as the rim's label lmao. Still gotta true but atleast they're assembled properly so far.

so satisfying but holy crap it takes forever. I laced up my first bmx wheel when I was young and I think it took me almost two hours to get it straight enough to feel good about it. Super discouraging after watching that mail order wheel lacing competition between albes and danscomp lol. Those guys could lace and true a wheel in like 11 minutes or something
