I saw a Cannondale caad3 frame with a single chain ring and flat bars on campus the other day. This must be built, right? As far as I know I haven't seen any bikes sold like this.

If I get another road bike that will likely be what I do though.

I run a 1X10 on my road bike. I like it, but there are no real hills around.

We have hills, but I don't usually ride very far so I could definitely get away with this I think.

I had a full road bike and now have a single gear dirt jumping bike. I miss how effortless road bikes are, but like the simplicity of my single speed cruising dirt jumper.

Yeah everyone told me that, I just felt retarded cruising around on a nice, built BMX bike and never did anything with it.

I ride a fixed gear now, I enjoy it, but I always have BMX love.
