I havent ridden any of my bikes in ages :(

I'm making a come back though this year; i'm definitely getting more involved locally again. I need to cut weight anyways

Picked up another bike last week.

Independent Fabrications SSR Reynolds 953 Stainless with full Dura Ace 7900, Thomson stem/post, DT240/Mavic Ceramic wheelset, and Vittoria Gumwalls.

Ride is super smooth, quite the opposite of my carbon go fast bike.

Head tube is a little bit too tall so I may have to move to a more aggressive stem or just accept that this bike is a cruiser.

The 1980s. A good decade for both cars and bikes.

Great looking bike, but how are you braking with the hoods that high up?

Looks like that bar should be rotated down a few degrees.

Thanks. It's a commuter, so I ride on the hoods a lot for a more upright position in city traffic (meaning I'm also braking from the hoods).

I'd personally throw on some townie/mustache bars or even some risers with index shifters. But hey still a nice bike regardless, steel is real!

I have another one that I use as a townie. Will post photos once it's done.

I'm liking the long reach fenders on that. It's the spray off the front wheel that mostly gets your feet and bottom bracket.

The club racer guys in Seattle would cut a water bottle in half, and tape the chunks onto the bottom edge of their fenders like big mudflaps, to try and keep the spray off their feet and the guy following behind.

My wife had a Motobecane when I first met her.

                        oh...EDIT......

                        Buddy Flaps, a NW thing.

My last road bike, which I sold in order to grab a mountain bike.

Road biking is fun, but I feel like a little kid on my mountain bike!
We are finally getting rid of snow up here, can't wait to get out and ride!

As someone who bicycle commutes year-round, I could not imagine not having at least one bike with long reach fenders!
