Well my point in calling that guy a douchebag was the fact that he had both pant legs rolled up. I understand rolling up your right pantleg so you don't get caught in the drive train and eat shit. But rolling up both pant legs is just a fashion thing. Hence the bicycle douchebaggedness.
Also, his bike has no pedal retention, an incorrect seat level, and no brakes. That's just dumb. Douche.tasty

Those guys are heavy into theme rides, ya know, like a thirty mile in a diaper at two am.
Here are the pics of the front end upgrades, made a huge difference, now I need to find a 26.6mm seatpost with a heavy setback, and a quality seat/saddle.

Wow that bicycle kitchen looks pretty wild. I guess i take it for granted that i have always have a shop full of tools and parts at cost at my disposal. (dad's good friend owns a bike shop and i worked there for two years).
Those rides look nuts too haha...
Looks good Farbin.-ChrisComment

scabzzzz, no offense intended by my post. I don't really care about what he's wearing, I roll my jeans up when I ride with them on. It's just the look he's got on his face, and the way he's got his arms folded like he's so tortured inside. That's all I was getting at. I have black hoodies and wear Chucks, too.Comment

Finished it at last.

End:
The image quality is piss poor but I sanded it all down, repainted it in a slightly darker shade of red and then a friend and I decorated the whole frame in Sharpie before finally hitting it with a couple of coats of clear. It looks pretty awesome in real life, lots of neat little hidden things that you wouldn't notice unless you spent a while looking at it. Tons of fun to make too.

And I just rode home from school about an hour ago. Night riding is a totally different animal. Can't see shit in some areas on the way home.Comment

Don't be a hipster and buy knog frogs. Just letting you know they suck in advance.Comment

you want your leg fully extended at the bottom of the stroke, but without your knees being locked. (maybe 1-2" from full extension) and your seat back so that when your pedal is facing forward (crank at the 3-9 o'clock position) your lower leg is vertical more or less- play with it until you find something front to back that comfy. Also, if your knees start hurting in back, move your seat forward. If they hurt at the front, move your seat (or scoot your ass) back.sigpic89 M3Comment
