I finally got around to snapping a quick pic of my long time project. It still isn't all there but i have been stealing parts off my other bike just so i can ride it a bit before the white stuff comes. I can't wait to get my brooks on it to replace that hard ass seat from my bmx bike. I have a package coming monday and it should finally be a complete bike.

picked the wife up a VERY entry level bike the other day. she just rides to/ from work and around town a bit. it's good for her for now.. she's not plannin on goin fixed so we did a brake upgrade, as her stock brakes were horrible. tektro calipers w/ bar end levers, a set of bullhorns w/ white tape, and we got some decent clips/ straps on their way..

Looks good! What clips/straps did you get?

I have the single MKS clips right now:

but I think I might get these and run double straps:

i have the soma double straps on my bike and i love them

the mks singles are dope, they came on my brother's fuji. i still prefer the soma doubles though, much more durable design

Those look sweet but you dont have to have them to run double straps. Just making sure you know. And double straps arent super necessary either. You get more than enough strap action from a single strap with a nice pedal.

But yeah, double straps are the shit. 100 for the straps, 25 for the clips, 40 for the pedal.
                  Edit: Wtf just happent

up for sale is my brother's 2008 14sp schwinn signia. he just got a fixie, so he doesn't need this anymore. comes with shimano components, beautiful schwinn frame and alloy swift wheels.

bike is smooth and straight, great for commuters, college students or weekend warriors.

i'm only asking 200, which is a steel since we bought it for 350 just a few months ago.

pm me to set up a time to see it or if you have any other questions

So say I had a bubble gum pink Bontrager Carbon Composite 1 1/8 threadless fork in 9/10 condition.

                            Would anyone be interested?

Would be great for a stock Windsor or similiar bike that comes with a heavy stock fork. Really lightens the bike up a whole lot, makes it more responsive, and looks baller as fuck.
Looking to unload it on the cheap side.

I would, had it not been pink, and threadless, and long enough for my silly bike.

You can always paint it. And buy another bike?
