Yeah man they are geared pretty low from the factory. The geometry you have is like super relaxed and not close to true track NJS geometry, which is really steep and upright and rigid. You have more of the Giant or Schwinn geometry I think.. The downward sloping top tube. I wouldnt worry too much about it. Just be aware of your position when you turn.
