I can't wait til the broken bone in my hand heals so I can ride teh flats of Eastern Idaho. I keep breaking things in the limbs I need for riding purposes.

I've been training for my first race, sanctioned. Woohoo!

Selling my IRO as well, to fund a road bike build.

Finally got my drivetrain straight on my NJS bike.
NJS Sugino 75 crankset, with ring, and bottom bracket. Izumi pro NJS gold chain. Sugino press on cog with lockring. 1/8" all the way around. On NJS Dura Ace 7600 hubs.

Oh, by the way, I took my first big touring trip on my track bike.
We drove from Nashville to Nags Head, NC at the top of the Outer Banks. Parked at the mall and rode our bikes to Ocracoke island, where Blackbeard was killed. Took highway 12 south all the way down until it ended. Roughly -/+ 100 miles. Was awesome!

Anyways, we got rained on a lot. Started storming about 40 miles in and didnt stop for about 20 miles. Sucked. But the trip was awesome!
My muscles never gave out at all, but my knees were in bad shape about 2/3 the way into the trip.
                Good times!

My friends bike is an 08 Kilo, H plus son's on dura ace 7600s, sugino crankset, same bar situation as my NJS bike, Thompson post, brooks saddle, etc etc.. Legit bike. Good thing he carried all the weight.

That looks awesome. I'd love to go skimboarding at the outer banks.

                        lol

                        thanks

that was 1 way. doesnt include riding around before and after.
the biggest mistake of the whole thing was driving all night, taking shifts to sleep and drive and then getting to the our destination at 8am and starting the ride at 8:30am. talk about adrenaline....

I'm curious...how did you fair with all the weight on the front end with that rack set up? Any issues turning or keeping the bike straight?

I've thought of doing that temporarily but never went for it.
