I noticed it's a completely different set of muscles you utilize for crank-braking on a fixie.

I rode your little mountain on a rented mountain bike awhile ago. Broke a chain right as I was starting the descent, then got a flat, then ran out of water on a 110+ degree day. Being used to the midwest, I really didn't prepare well... Looks like fun if you aren't riding a POS though haha.

Looks like my Bridgestone MB-Zip has bunch of same NOS parts. Debating sending out for a new paint job. Did you get the frame in pristine condition? Some Panaracer Dart and Smoke would be a nice set up.

The frame has a few marks/scratches here and there but overall is in good shape and the colors are still pretty vibrant.

I can't see riding on old tires or destroying an expensive set of NOS Panaracer's so modern tires are a must. And they're lighter. I'm thinking Schwalbe Racing Ralph EVO's...if I can find them in 1.9/2.0. Anything wider won't look right on this frame. I would however run a set of Tioga Psycho-K's on it.....had them on my 93 Trek 7000 bitd and had no complaints.

Thanks. I have a set of the original ribbed Ritchey TrueGrips & ODI attacks on the way. And a NOS Mavic 121 Ceramic/XT m732 wheelset on the way....just need proper pads for the ceramic wheels
