Went there last year when we broke in Scotland for 12 days. Visited two distilleries a day.

Here's some crazy talk....ride around the world in 80 days (79 actually). Average 240 miles a day.

The 34-year-old took just 79 days to complete the 18,000-mile route - breaking the record by 44 days.

Just ran across these pics - I wonder who built them.

^^^ I'm guessing that's just open-mold carbon frames with Alfa decals.

Like Taiwanese or something, not DeRosa?

Remember when Colnago did those Ferrari editions? They were a bit overdone IMO.

Building up a schwinn varsity right now with a 52t biopace ring up front and sachs s7 hub in the rear, aiming for 22lbs. Wish me luck this thing is an anchor with aero forks lol.

My son was looking to get into road biking, so I fixed up an old mid-70's Panasonic as a starter. It’s still a mid-1970’s 10-speed on a mass market Japanese steel touring frame, but it works and looks much better now. The Shimano drive train is pretty bullet proof. Component list: Shimano Tourney double Crank, Look Delta Clipless Pedals, Original Shimano 600 derailleur (r), Shimano 50 deraileur (f), vintage Dia-Compe center pull brakes, modern Gevenalle Audax shifting/braking system with Dia-Compe friction shift levers, 3TTT handlebar, SR Stem, Sovos Hubs on 27x11/8 rims, Continental UltraSport tires, Cateye Strada wireless computer, Selle Italia X1 seat. Basically it is set-up kinda like a CycloCross bike but with a longer touring wheel-base, road tires & a few plush comforts. I think it’s pretty cool.

I cannot load pics from work but I have a lightning phantom 2 with some mods done to it.

I did a 700c rear wheel conversion and also some pauls motobrakes in black. plus, normal stuff like changed the gears to sizes I like more and bars and stuff
